All classes for 2023 run based on the four 10-week school terms of the NSW Public School Calendar Year.
Classes do not run on Public Holidays.
Registration for all four terms is OPEN. For 2023, SBC is structured as a four-term commitment, however we understand not everyone can make this commitment, so dancers can elect the number of terms they wish to register for.
For new participants, a one-off FREE Introductory Lesson is offered.
We do not charge a registration fee. Instead, to reserve places in terms beyond Term 1, a 2-week non-refundable deposit (eg, 1xclass per week $40 or $50/term) is included in the first invoice and then deducted from future invoices.
Tuition fees are charged quarterly. For those registering term by term, invoices are issued upon successful formal registration always with 10-day payment terms, or for no later than the start of term date. For those registering in multiple terms, invoices are issued upon successful formal registration always with 10-day payment terms, or for no later than the start of term date, and then 10 days prior to the start of each term thereafter. Paid tuition fees are non-refundable. All outstanding invoices must be paid for the dancer to attend classes.
Mid-term registrations are assessed on a case-by-case basis, per availability. If joining mid term, fees will be prorated.
If you miss a class, a make-up class is offered. Dancers can join 1 level above or below (those in Ballet Buds can join Yellow Wattle Ballet and those in Blue Orchid Ballet can join Emerald Lily Ballet). Make-up classes must be done within the same term, and we kindly ask that you take responsibility in following up for your make-up class/es. In the unlikely event that a teacher cannot attend a class, as much notice as possible will be given and dancers are offered either a full refund for that lesson, a re-scheduled lesson within the same term, or credit equal to the value of the lesson to be put towards the following term.

Private lessons are available throughout all four NSW School terms, including holiday periods.
Private Lessons do not run on Public Holidays.
An invoice for your Private Lesson(s) will be issued at the time of booking always with 10-day payment terms, or for no later than the private lesson date.
The number of committed lessons is agreed on a case-by-case basis.
Private lessons are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your private lesson a make-up lesson is offered when more than 24-hours notice is given. Make-up lessons must be done within the same term. An invoice for Workshop attendance will be issued upon registration with 10-day payment terms, or for no later than the workshop date. Payment must be received prior to attendance.
Workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend BalletColourful offers a credit note to be put towards a future workshop. With as much notice as possible, please text Fenella on 0492431641 or contact via email at fenella@balletcolourful.com if you can’t attend.
In the unlikely event that a Workshop will be cancelled, as much notice as possible will be given and all dancers will be offered either a full refund, or the chance to join a re-scheduled Workshop within the same holiday period.
